Pieter Kersten

Pieter's career as a rider began in 1970 as an interrnational dressage rider. By 1980, Pieter's focus switched to show-jumping.  In the famous Belgian Zangersheide, Pieter trained under Jos Lansink, the world champion.

Pieter and his assistant trainer Christina Kallmert train horses of all levels, from breaking young horses all the way up to international  level. All showjumpers get a strong dressage foundation. Pieter trains horses he has bred, as well as privately owned horses.

During his spare time, Pieter gives private lessons in dres-sage and jumping. He also conducts clinics all around the world.

In Holland, Pieter Kersten is regarded as an expert in bree-ding and he was holding the highly honored position of approving the KWPN stallions. Only two other people were also entrus-ted with this position of keeping the high standards of the Dutch Warmblood breed.

All in all, Pieter Kersten is a familiar face in the international showjumping, dressage and breeding world!
